Sweet Blistering Jeebus!
It's hot here. Jungle hot. Tarzan couldn't take this kind of hot. And I had lunch at the Bob Evans restaurant this afternoon. Shockingly, it was not bad. Much better than the last dinner I had a Chili's (which I used to like). Sweet potato fries (cut a little thinner than I prefer), coleslaw (not bad - not nearly as good as mine), and a pot roast sandwich. Reasonably priced, good tasting food. Nothing to make the foodie go out of his or her way but absolutely acceptable. I'd eat there again. Our waiter said the wrap sandwiches are the best deal. I'll probably try one of those.

Gwine get hotter, Mr. Man. NOAA says:

Wednesday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 101. Heat index values as high as 106. North northwest wind around 7 mph.

Mr. Man may want to close off AC vents in unused rooms to concentrate cool air where it's most appreciated.

NOAA also says you'll have a low of 67 by Saturday night...

I last ate at a Bob Evans in 2004 while on vacation with the Grands. The chain tolerated our sizable group of 6 adults and 4 youngsters under 6 without too much hassle. The food wasn't anything I'd write home about though. Merely passable.

I'd say my experience was a bit more than "merely passable" but I'm not about to argue that. I think of getting a decent meal in contradistinction to every time I've tried Applebee's and my last Chili's dinner.
Passable is OK.
