A Quick Question For You
What's your favorite candy? Drop a note in the comments if you please. I am rather fond of gummi candies (recently tried the pink grapefruit gummies from Amazon and they are go-ood!) but if I had to pick out an absolute favorite, I'm going to go with a variation on the basic marshmallow I found several year ago at my local CVS drugstore: The marshmallow itself is cut into cubes which are then coated with toasted coconut. Oh baby!

Yokan (may not qualify as a "candy"). Botan Rice Candy. Jolly Rancher Sour Candy (various flavors). Turkish Delight. 12 pieces of Candy Corn.
I'm gonna go wash out my mouth now...
Yokan qualifies. Hells yeah. I think you can get Botan from Amazon. Candy corn - yikes!
I love sesame candies, but they're full of corn syrup and I can't have them anymore. Most chocolates are still okay, though... so if I can't get Stam Chocolate, I'll settle for Lindor Truffles (particularly the holiday version in the light-blue package that's milk chocolate on the outside and white ganache on the inside).
Is that a hint?
;-)
I second the sesame candies - I forgot about them. Candy corn has a certain addictive quality. But eating more than 12 pieces makes the insides of your blood vessels itch, so you've got to watch it...
I, sigh, do not eat candy anymore. (And yes, for those who know me, I didn't think it was possible either!)
However, when I did, it was a Belgian truffle that was all truffle-y goodness inside and the outside was rolled in shaved milk chocolate.
