Have you ever had lemon pickles? Yes, I know it sounds strange. But you slice 'em thin, put 'em in a salad and you've got something. Something good. And I'm going to use these in my next dumpling project. Lemon pork dumplings with hoisin. I'm not sure how they'll be but if I can get the ratio of lemony brightness to hoisin sweetness right (with blanched bok choy to ease things around), it could be a winner.
Friends gave me these (pictured) for my birthday. They say that these are better than the other brands they've tried. I'm taking their word on that.
